Multiple Versions of Windows 7

Microsoft has had a strategy of rolling out their Windows operating systems with different editions. So, obviously, the upcoming OS Windows 7 will be rolled out in different versions. The recent built 7025 of Windows 7 showed up options to choose between different Windows 7 versions. Those familiar with the nomenclature of Microsoft’s OS versions won’t have to scratch their heads over this report.

Microsoft will be rolling out Windows 7 in five versions: Starter , Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, and Ultimate. To be noted, the Windows 7 Public Beta carried the Windows Ultimate tag, so it can expected that the lower variants will be minus certain features. Currently, folks are enjoying the Ultimate features of Windows 7 would be excluded in the lower editions.
